Answer: WQTS is a specialty environmental engineering & science consulting company located in Los Angeles, California. Our mission is to provide our clients innovative and cost effective solutions to water quality and treatment challenges. Our work spans desktop analysis as well as bench-scale, pilot-scale, and full-scale testing water treatment technologies. Our Los Angeles facility includes an experimental laboratory where we conduct testing of various water treatment technologies. Tests conducted include evaluation of coagulants using standard jar testing, as well as advanced technologies such as ozone application for chemical destruction, adsorption of organic chemicals such as PFAS, VOCs, SOCs, and others, ion-exchange for the removal of inorganics, and many other technologies. Our facility also includes a fabrication facility where we fabricate, assemble, and house pilot-scale water treatment units, including coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation processes, as well media filters, media absorbers, ozone contactors, and others. These equipment are leased to our clients on an as-needed basis. When requested, we have also assembled pilot units that were purchased by our clients. Other specialty studies we conduct include desktop evaluation of distribution system water quality, corrosion studies, water chemistry investigations, and others.
