Miller, DO FACOS FACS General, Vascular, Endovascular Surgeons & Vein Specialists Board Certified in both General and Vascular Surgery Dr. Mark Robbins earned his medical degree in 1995 from the University of Iowa and trained for 5 years at the University of Kansas-Wichita as a surgical resident. In 2000, he and his family moved to Wichita Falls, TX where he earned his board certification in general surgery and practiced for three years as a general surgeon as a Major at Sheppard Air Force Base Hospital. During that time, he was privileged to serve on the island of Diego Garcia where he performed surgery in Tent City in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. In 2003, Dr. Robbins was accepted into the vascular surgery fellowship program at the renowned Jobst Vascular Center in Toledo, Ohio. There he trained in all aspects of arterial and venous disease, emphasizing on minimally invasive and diagnostic procedures. Dr. Robbins is an independent vascular and general surgeon, working at both TMF and ETMC hospitals in Tyler, he also performs interventional vascular procedures right in the office. Dr. Miller received his Bachelor's of Science degree from the University of Arizona in 2001. During his undergraduate study he worked as a paramedic at local Tucson hospitals, followed by work as a paramedic and firefighter for Rural Metro Fire Department in Pima County, Arizona for one year. After graduating with honors from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2006, Dr. Miller completed a General Surgery residency at Michigan State University/McLaren Macomb Medical Center in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, where he was named Chief Resident in his final year. He then entered into a two year Vascular Surgery Fellowship through Michigan State University, with one year at McLaren Macomb Medical Center and one year at the world famous Arizona Heart Institute.
