TSTT is currently in operation in four states (New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Virginia). Our mission is to recruit , mentor and train culturally diverse, economically challenged students, who are academically qualifed high school students, as early as 9th grade and work with them through a collaborative model and ensure they not only graduate high school but are prepared for success in college. Through our 24 college partnerships we offer 50% tuition scholarships, and upon graduation from college, we assist them in entering the teaching profession where they are then placed in positions as certified teachers. In a full circle model these new leaders strengthen their communities as highly qualified educators. To date. we have mentored nearly 1200 students and placed over 250 teachers in teaching positions.
