Answer: The Sister Project is your leading hygge (pronounced HOO-GAH) lifestyle blog covering all things cozy as we help YOU celebrate the simple things in life. Launched in late 2014, Chicago based sisters, Michelle Anderson and Lauren Massarella, have been sharing their cozy lifestyle while encouraging others to find their own hygge and happiness. Having been raised in a very cozy abode, Lauren and Michelle know a thing or two celebrating all four seasons as they come and go. Sharing delicious recipes, seasonal fashion tips, parental hacks, and everything in between...just like sisters do. And always with a heavy dose of humor and authenticity or else what's the point. In addition to sharing their lifestyles and sisterhood, they spend time raising awareness and funds for dementia research. Their mom, June, suffered and passed from frontal-temporal dementia (FTD) in 2019. This plot twist in life encouraged the sisters to share their journey with dementia and the grief of losing their mother. Along with their writing, The Sister Project holds fundraisers (fun ones!) to continue their mission. We're exceptionally excited that you stopped by and we look forward to connecting with you!
