Answer: When Ray Marquez seriously injured his shoulder almost 9 years ago, while working for a major shipping company, his doctor told him that, even after surgery, he would probably still be permanently disabled and unable to work. That was not a prognosis Ray would accept! He was determined to fully rehabilitate himself physically, and in the meantime, shift his direction professionally. I decided to get my Real Estate License and get into the business of Real Estate. But upon getting in, I experienced a definite reality check in terms of how hard you have to work to be successful. I work with a lot of investors and have helped them acquire numerous properties all over the community that are giving them great returns as well as home owners buying up in todays market to a larger home to suit their growing family needs. Ray derives great satisfaction from being able to help clients who need to short sale. I have numerous examples of clients who were going to be foreclosed on by the bank until I stepped in, got the sale postponed and got the short sale approved by their bank. I not only help save their credit, but in many cases, I can get money back from the bank for them as well. An Associate Broker with J. Rockcliffs Blackhawk West office, Ray works and lives by traditional values. I believe in the importance of trust, integrity, honesty, being ethical, and in business-it must be a win-win for all parties in the transaction. Ray also believes in good old-fashioned hard work, consistent building his professional skill set and resources.
