Answer: The Brave Collection is a New York based line of jewelry carved and woven by hand in Cambodia to support local artisans. The designer spent time in South East Asia as an English teacher, and was shocked to learn how much of Cambodian art and culture had been destroyed in the 1970s genocide, and how many Cambodian women today are still working in challenging conditions in factories, or worse falling victim to human trafficking. The Brave Collection was born out of Hendricks passion to create a fashion brand that would employ disadvantaged Cambodian artisans in a fair-trade environment, and combat human trafficking by spreading awareness and donating 10% of profits to the fight. We are working to ignite a global community of dreamers and change-makers, and have been supported by publications including Refinery29 and GLAMOUR who have helped to share our story. Courage is contagious.
