Answer: Student Success Alliance unites the community in empowering students to succeed in school and in life. We work inside 12 schools across Walton County serving more than 11,000 students with school-wide programs and 400 with one-to-one support. We help students overcome their personal barriers so they can succeed in school, graduate and become productive members of our community. We believes every child needs and deserves: 1) The support of a caring adult 2) Basic resources to succeed in school 3) A plan for the future and a path to achieve it 5) An opportunity to engage and reinvest in community CIS of Walton County places staff members inside schools to provide school-wide drop-out prevention services and to work one-on-one with a group of students who need extra adult support. More than 7,000 students receive school-wide services and nearly three hundred are supported with individual success plans. Communities In Schools currently operates inside Carver Middle School, Loganville High School, Loganville Middle School, Monroe Area High School, Social Circle Elementary School, Walnut Grove High School and Youth Middle School.
