Answer: Stoddard Imported Cars has built a tradition of supplying parts for the world's finest automobiles and supporting them with a knowledgeable and courteous staff. Stoddard Imported Cars, Inc. (SIC) was founded in June 1957 by Charles A. (Chuck) Stoddard, an automotive engineer (MIT '52) with Thompson Products (now TRW). In 1974 Chuck Stoddard made a significant decision which was of everlasting importance to his business and to many Porsche enthusiasts, which was to purchase all the available 356 parts from around the world and to expand his market via mail-order to the entire United States, followed by Europe, and finally expanding worldwide. Today, Stoddard carries both factory, and reproduced parts for older Porsche models: - all 356 - 911 and 912 through '73 - 911 1974-1989 - growing inventory of 1989 & later 911 - 914 - non-current racing cars.
