Since 2011 he has created, designed, and developed a body of work committed to fueling subculture across the digital landscape both through his company, Special Offer, Inc., and his personal practice, where projects are animated by a desire to generate new exploratory and critical frameworks. Approaching identity systems as malleable structures, Freaney works within the confines afforded by the internet to reshape the possibilities of unbounded digital space. As founder and principal of Special Offer, he has shaped how we experience branded digital environments through innovation in functionality, building many of the most recognizable websites and apps used by the art, fashion, and music industries today.
