Answer: Why Schedule Lab? We understand that making a class schedule is tedious, stressful, and sometimes frustrating, as there is a myriad of things to consider, such as time, instructor, seat availability, commute, etc. Schedule Lab helps you build an optimized class schedule that fits your lifestyle in a hassle-free way. Simply choose what courses youd like to take and we will generate the best section combination for you to register. How does it work? We developed a variety of algorithms built with fine-tuned mathematical models that take all your preferences into consideration holistically to generate the best possible schedules for you. Who are we? We are UC Davis students who experienced firsthand the pain when building our class schedules during our first year in college. Thus, Schedule Lab was born as a personal project that simply generates section combinations without time conflicts given the courses inputted. After realizing that everyone experiences the same pain we do, we grew this little command-line project into a more advanced website that could benefit all college students across the country.
