Answer: SARAH WALKER DESIGN STUDIO founded in 1997, is a full-service interior design and firm that specializes in large scale high end residential remodels for clients in the Santa Barbara area as well as, Los Angeles, New York, and the Bahamas. The design studios projects are wide ranging in style and vernacular from a Julius Shulman photographed Mid Century Modern, a hacienda style ranch house, a classic Spanish Colonial, to a glass, steel, and concrete architectural contemporary with views of the Santa Barbara coast below. SWDS accepts a limited number of commissions each year to ensure Sarah can be fully involved in the details of the project. There is a strong emphasis on quality, longevity, and craftsmanship and therefore we pride ourselves on being great collaborators with the various contractors and makers who help to realize our designs. Sarah has a particular interest and expertise, in art, vintage furniture, and collectibles, and really enjoys helping clients build their collections and incorporate them into their homes. Most of the firms projects are with long term repeat clients, designing their 2nd and 3rd homes, as well as their workplaces.
