The terminal is the only privately owned port facility in the Texas Gulf Coast that has water, rail, and road access and is outside the jurisdiction of a Port Authority. Terminal and Port Capabilities -60,000bbls a day transfer rate is possible with the current infrastructure. Rockport Terminals dock, pipeline, and pump system are rated at +2,500bbl per hour. There are two existing tanks with a base ready for a third. The product can arrive by barge and go out by truck, barge, or future rail. -Concept designs are done for two liquids terminal areas on-site; one waterside and one next to the existing tanks. There is space for up to 1,000,000bbls with the limiting factor being the desired use of the operator. -There are two existing active pipelines at the rear of the property that could potentially bring liquids to the site making it a true multi-modal facility. -The site suits companies that want to establish a bulk liquids storage, processing, and distribution center in the Corpus Christi region.
