To date Recycled Movie has diverted over 300 tons of recyclables from landfills by providing outstanding service at many prestigious events, including: The Los Angeles Film Festival, Film Independent Spirit Awards, Downtown Los Angeles Artwalk, Venice Eco-Fest, YMCA Stairclimb, East Hollywood Artwalk, LA Burningman Decompression, Silver Lake Jubilee and the Brewery Artwalk. Partnerships with organizations such as the Midnight Mission allow us to provide work experience at these events for individuals trying to get off the streets. In addition, the collected CRV refunds are put into a film fund used to create projects that support arts, education and the community. These films also serve as outstanding mentorship opportunities for student filmmakers. Recycled Movie has funded and produced over 25 short films and documentaries, including the multiple award winning shorts "A Day in the Life," & "Still Me."
