Answer: We inspire and empower young, underrepresented marginalized students in Title I schools around Portland, Oregon to become science and technology leaders. We aspire to engage them in opportunities that teach engineering, science and technology skills through interactive LEGO building experiences. Through these experiences, students will innovate and foster well rounded life skills such as self confidence, communication, and leadership. We believe that knowledge is best received when the right resources are available to the hands of the ones who need it most. We see that K-8 is a crucial time in forming a childs passion, creativity and overall development. In our pursuit of supporting children, we want to give them every opportunity and ensure they are equipped for a brighter future. Sometimes it only takes one person to believe in you to change the fate of your journey. We want to share these experiences and struggles experiences by students at Title I schools with other marginalized parts of the world. Not only that, but we strive to create a solid foundation where they can recognize themselves in each other and build friendships through our international efforts.
