Our company founder, Dr. Jay Ding, (Ding Jianzhong) earned his Ph.D. in Physics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1997. After a successful academic and management career, working at several world-famous laboratories and for Fortune 500 companies, Dr. Ding founded PrincetoNow in 2004. Dr. Ding successfully anticipated the need for an elite hybrid of Sino-American college counseling. This service would combine academic field knowledge and admissions contacts with the ability to communicate confidently and clearly with students and their parents. As demand in China soars for the highest possible level of college education and college counseling, PrincetoNow guides qualified students through the maze of higher educational opportunities in the U.S.. That direction, of course, includes expertise in navigating the application journey towards the famous Ivy League universities for undergraduate studies and beyond. However, as stellar as those famous eight (Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, The University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University, and Yale University) private institutions of higher learning located in the Northeastern U.S. are, they arent necessarily the best fit for every high-achieving applicant from mainland China.
