The Project is... Empowerment-based and survivor-focused. Preventing further sexual abuses by raising awareness of the issue and pioneering positive and empowering solutions. Grounded in principles of public health and best practices. Dedicated to diversity and inclusiveness regarding gender, race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, geography, and class. Project Director Becky Fein created this project in order to enhance the conversation and build community around the issue of sexual assault. She is passionate about prevention, awareness-raising, and survivor empowerment. Becky has extensive experience and training in health education, crisis counseling, and social outreach. She holds a Masters degree in Public Health from Columbia University with an emphasis in violence prevention and a Bachelors degree in Sociology from the University of California, Davis. Becky is a survivor of sexual assault and a devoted advocate in the movement towards a world free of sexual violence.
