On Palm Tran, you can travel to every major destination in Palm Beach County, from Jupiter to Boca Raton and from Palm Beach to the Glades. Welcome aboard! Palm Tran runs seven days a week, excluding holidays, serving more than 3,200 bus stops with 150 buses. Typically, weekday peak service runs every 30 minutes. Off-peak service runs every 60 minutes. Weekend service runs hourly on most routes. Timed-transfer points allow for easy movement from the North/South main routes to the East/West routes. Palm Tran also serves several park-and-ride lots throughout Palm Beach County. All Palm Tran buses are equipped with wheelchair ramps, automatic stop announcement systems, audio and video monitoring equipment and bike racks. Palm Tran riders can view real-time bus locations to easily plan your trip online using a computer or smartphone. These online tools "IGo!" use Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) technology on board buses and operate through Google Transit maps. In addition, System Maps and Rider's Guides are available at no charge. CONNECTION, Palm Trans paratransit division, provides a high quality door-to-door service for the Countys senior and disabled population. Palm Tran Connection continues to implement service enhancements in order to improve performance, increase customer advocacy, and promote a positive attitude within the community.
