Our focus is first, supporting the transition to healthy diet and lifestyle to manage and maintain our most important asset, our health. By adopting a vegan or raw vegan diet we create health and vitality and longevity. We no longer need to fear the diseases that plague African Americans. Our second focus is safe and natural treatment for pain and injuries to get back to work, training and pleasure fast. Hatha yoga and therapeutic massage are on site to available to support healing. Dr. Opare, MD, MPH, CA, started moving towards veganism while in college. He has eaten a vegan diet for over 15 years and high raw for 7. His motivation was to prevent becoming diabetic like his relatives. The environmental, ethical and spiritual aspects of diet led him to become completely vegan. This same motivation shapes his practice. He has extensive experience in Chinese and natural medicine, in primary care and emergency medicine, osteopathic manual medicine, fasting and addictive illness. He is one of the few doctors of integrative medicine with training in nutrition, of Traditional Chinese medicine that endorse vegan and raw vegan diets, and of MD's that endorse the Natural Hygiene model of health care.
