Answer: OEMCo was founded in 2011 by Nissim Black and Yosef Brown, originally as a for profit music production company. The company soon progressed as an artist development company, which included producing and managing artist. In an attempt to merge the passion to build outreach programs and events interacting with Jewish youth, Brown and Black decided to turn the company into an not-for Profit outreach corporation focused on engaging Jewish youth through several multi-media platforms. The business structure of OEMCo is unique in that it serves as a non-profit music label that isnt afraid to go to bat against the monogamist and violence driving music that floods iPods and radio stations all over the world. OEMCo only releases projects that maintains high integrity in its content. Our philosophy is; The youth listens to whats out there to be heard. Promoting music driven by Jewish values in a way that not only Jewish youth but the whole entire world can relate to is our goal as an organization. Our primary programming includes campaigns that are event driven. We are geared towards exciting youth to join us in our campaigns as we set out to change the world through multi-media outlets. These events include but are not limited to Shabbatons, Concerts, music programs and Summer Camps.
