Our love for yerba mate led us to its birthplace in Paraguay, taking us along the dusty highways of the Trans-Chaco, to the bustling river-side metropolis of Asuncion, to the yawning skies of the Alto Parana. If we learned one thing from our journey, its that no company could ever replicate the experience of Paraguayan yerba mate. Yerba mate is more than a beverage. Its an experience that knits communities together, shared with us sip by sip in town plazas and roadside gas stations. Weve made our version of terere with the exact ingredients youd find back in Paraguay: Organic, aged yerba mate, fresh spearmint and lime, all cold brewed together by hand for maximum flavor. So while you might be missing the bombilla and the shade of a courtyard, you can still share a bottle of Mi Mate with your friends and family. This beverage is an homage to Paraguay and its ways, to the people who opened their homes to us and broke bread with us, who had the patience to share their stories.
