Answer: MaskIT is the safest, most sanitary method of disposal for menstrual hygiene items. With MaskIT, we are able to reduce exposure risks to bloodborne pathogens, reduce plumbing problems, and improve user experience. Our mission is to save lives, save trees, and normalize the period. MaskIT is an innovative product that addresses all the challenges associated with the disposal of feminine hygiene items at home and in public restroom environments. It is the only solution that has ever been designed to be placed on the hand, prior to the removal of menstrual items. This provides a glove-like protection for the user. Then, through a simple inversion process, the used items are easily contained and then sealed within a pouch which prevents leaks and blocks odor on a molecular level. The Certified compostable bioilm we use to make MaskIT meets the BPI Certification US Standard ASTM D6400 and the European Standard EN 13432. Both specifications require that biodegradable/compostable products completely decompose in a composting setting in a specific time frame, leaving no harmful residues behind. If just 10% of menstruating women in the US, were to transition from toilet paper to MaskIT, we would save over 147,000 trees every single year. Diseases like HEP B, HEP C, and HIV can be contracted through exposure to menstrual blood. MaskIT is the first product on the market that offers a solution that will reduce this risk in public restroom environments. MaskIT prevents the hand from becoming contaminated during the changing process of feminine hygiene items and ensures that used items are enclosed and sealed within the pouch before they are placed into a receptacle creating a safer environment for guests, customers and staff. Our customers have found that installing the MaskIT disposal system has reduced their consumption of toilet paper, reduced their plumbing issues and has contributed to an overall better environment in their restrooms. 20% off coupon: LinkedIn20%
