Answer: Lincoln Foundation provides educational enrichment programs that develop and support youth in overcoming social and economic barriers to achievement. Our organization accomplishes this mission through The Whitney M. YOUNG Scholars Program (WYSP) which annually admits high potential underserved students who demonstrate academic promise. The program prepares them for high school graduation and admission to college. Educational support continues while a student is in college through the organizations College Enrichment Transition Program to bridge the challenging transition from high school to college. The ultimate goal is to facilitate successful matriculation toward a college degree. Approximately 450 students benefit from the program each year.
