Answer: Lark Street Music has one of the widest selections of both acoustic and electric vintage instruments in the world. Everything from pre-war Martin and Gibson to D'Angelicos and '50s Strat's, Teles and Les Pauls. At the store, located in Teaneck, NJ, we buy, sell, trade and appraise vintage instruments. Originally located on historic Lark St., in Albany, NY, the store moved to its current location in 1999. The store is known for its rare and vintage guitars, as well as the quality of the repair and restoration services offered under the supervision of owner, Buzzy Levine, who has been repairing stringed instruments since 1968. Lark Street Music is also able to provide very accurate instrument evaluations, as provided to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Orion Blue Book of Vintage Guitars, and Vintage Guitar Magazine and their Price Guide. Customers hail from across the globe and although many make the pilgrimage to Teaneck, much of the business is done over email and the telephone. Callers will speak directly with the owner.
