Answer: Originally incorporated in 1983, Kitchens Plus was purchased in January 2000 by Clark Knickerbocker; three years later, he moved the company across town to our current location in a fast-growing business park. The new building allowed us to add a shop that's fully equipped to handle fabrication of laminated commercial casework, Formica solid surface and other woodworking projects. Our large showroom features many displays and new products we didn't have room for at the old location, including faucets, bar stools, sinks, plumbing fixtures, vanities, tile, hardware and more. Kitchens Plus' growth continued in 2006 with the introduction of our Designer Caseworks product line of custom-made cabinets and countertops, completion of a 2,400-sq.-ft. shop addition and the purchase of a MultiCam, 3-axis CNC router. With a 5' x 12' table, a cutting speed of 1,200" per minute and accurate to within .001", the router provides virtually limitless possibilities in machining wood or plastic parts.
