Answer: ABOUT US The Korean-American CPA Society of Southern California (KACPA) is the largest Korean-American member association in the U.S. with over 500 members representing professionals in public practice as well as industry, government, education, and consulting. The officers and board of directors of the KACPA are all volunteers who donate their services for the advancement of the continuing professional educational needs of our members and also provide community seminars for Korean-Americans residing in Southern California. We strive to broaden our reach of the Korean-American professionals and continue to be trusted advisors for the communities we serve. The KACPA has been recognized as an exemplary organization in the Korean-American community in Southern California. MISSION AND PURPOSE Mission: Maintain high professional standards and support our members and the community at large. Purpose: The Society is established to advance the profession of accountancy in the State of California; to encourage the maintenance of high professional standards for the certified public accountant; to cultivate a cordial relationship among practicing accountants; to promote a better understanding of the services rendered by certified public accountants; to act in a representative capacity for the profession; and to take an active part in the events and activities to be hosted by the LA Chapter of California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
