Answer: Junior Wildlife Ranger (previously Junior Refuge Rangers) is an environmental education nonprofit providing opportunities for youth to explore the natural world. We believe that every child, no matter their background, should have the opportunity to explore the incredible forests, deserts, wetlands, and grasslands in their backyards. Our free hands-on programs can be done at-home, at local parks, and at National Wildlife Refuges across the U.S.. Kids ages 7 and up are able to earn badges and become lifelong stewards of public lands. We are honored to have been recognized by the Brower Youth Awards, Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes, and Kohls Cares Awards.
