Answer: Since our founding in 2002, HomeAid San Diego has joined a national network of chapters to achieve one vision - to play a vital role in the elimination of homelessness. Our mission is to "build new lives for homeless families and individuals through housing, education and community outreach." We bring together builders, community leaders, trade partners, donors, volunteers and non-profit professional service providers to build transitional housing and shelters for men, women and children who are temporarily without a home. With over 25 completed projects providing housing to the homeless throughout San Diego County, we are proud to be a part of a mission to alleviate homelessness and to provide families and individuals with a second chance in life.
