Answer: Harvest Craft is a passionate 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to equipping, educating, and empowering communities around the globe through sustainable food production systems. Our international headquarters is located outside of Jacmel, Haiti, at the recently founded Haiti Center for Agroecology (harvestcraft.org/hca). The purpose of the HCA is to provide contextualized research and education for local farmers, and to be a hub for international students to visit, take courses, and conduct research. In essence, this facility will function as a research and education center for the Haitian agricultural industry. We provide systems for institutions like orphanages, schools, and sex-trafficking rehabilitation centers, and directly for underprivileged communities. Systems we develop include: Chicken Coops with Laying Hens and Broilers Tree Planting Programs (Nurseries and Agro-Forests) Piggeries and Pig Breeding Facilities Goat, Sheep, and Cow Grazing Programs Aquaponics and Fish/Frog Farms Agroecology Scout Trips and Consultations We aim to do sustainable and holistic development impacting the physical, communal, environmental, educational, and economic needs of underprivileged communities worldwide.
