Answer: Global Squad was founded in 2011 by John Alexander, a former international school student athlete at the International School in Beijing. John created Global Squad to provide international school student athletes with opportunities to train and receive college exposure in the US. Our Summer Academy is held for four weeks in the month of July and gives international school student athletes opportunities to train both mind and body at an elite level. We also run International Tours where we take teams from the US to tournaments overseas for a cultural and athletic experience. Additionally, we run Overseas Camps at international schools all over the world. We are highly motivated by our core values. We teach athletes to take ownership over their game in order to be the best version of themselves. We enhance development by encouraging the consistent repetition of important fundamentals to master potential. We teach patience, diligence, and character to achieve long-lasting improvement for both mind and body. We build relationships in a world-wide community of athletes creating a strong and diverse support network. We believe in inspiring athletes to reach for the stars while pursuing their dreams establishing an elite work ethic. Currently we work with athletes from over 65 countries and 175 international schools.
