Project expertise ranging from simple office and tenant buildouts to complex data centers, sports complexes, K-12 schools and complete chilled water systems for large university laboratory buildings. Services Offered Our firm offers full MEP services from conceptual design to close out construction documents. GK Engineers works with the owner and architect to provide plans that encompass the project needs and meets the construction budget expectations. The project is not over for our firm once design documents and project specifications go out for construction. GK Engineers is active during the projects development, working closely with the architect, owner, and general contractor. Construction services including equipment submittal review, site visits, and punch lists assure the installations matches design documentation. Some of the highlights of our 2018 engineering year include: Over 200,000 s.f. of tenant renovations and buildouts, in over 40 office buildings in the City of Houston. Designed 25,000 square foot of quick service food restaurant space Flood assessment and remediation/renovation to the 1,800-ton central plant for a 450,000 square foot office building in the energy corridor. Assessed and provided retro-commissioning for multiple Houston buildings. Developed solutions for existing building issues such as mechanical/electrical design flaws, building pressure imbalance, energy code assessments, upgrades, and domestic water expansion.
