Answer: Give Every Child A Chance touches the lives of students and their families across South San Joaquin County. Our programs focus on helping disadvantaged youth succeed in school while building self-confidence, awareness, and esteem. Give Every Child A Chance (GECAC) has been providing free to minimal cost programs to over 2,500 youth annually. We have been the lead nonprofit organization providing free mentoring/tutoring to students K-12 grade since 1998. The programs we provide are: TEACH (Teaching Encourages Achievement, Coaching & Hard work), ASAP (After School Advantage Program), Health Education, BHS (Before High School), bi-monthly food and activity kit distributions and Summer Supplemental Program (Day Camp). Our site locations are strategically positioned throughout South San Joaquin County to assure all children are within easy access of a program site, in order to assure they receive the assistance they need. We service both English and multi-lingual students.
