Answer: The Fernando Pullum Community Arts Center is a performing arts school located in the South LA community of Leimert Park. We envision a world where the youth of South Central Los Angeles no longer feel a need to participate in gangs, violent activity and/or self-destructive behaviour. Instead, they will turn towards community and peace while developing awakened expectations of what their lives can be. Our mission is to offer children in South Central Los Angeles a safe and accessible environment in which they learn performing arts (instrumental music, voice, drama & dance) from respectful and caring adults. We focus on programming that reflects the artistic tastes and values of the people in the historic Leimert Park community. All our classes are completely free!
