Answer: Family Voices of California is a statewide collaborative of parent-run centers working to ensure quality health care for children and youth with special health care needs. Project Leadership is a parent and family advocacy training program with an overall goal is to increase the number of family members of children with special health care needs who are prepared and supported to become advocates for health care policy and service improvements. The Project Leadership curriculum introduces parents and caregivers to the nuts and bolts of advocacy in a seven-session training series.
