Answer: Equity Marketing Services, Inc. began in 1979 as the residential development, marketing and sales affiliate of Equity Financial and Management Company. It was purchased in 1989 by its two top executives, Herbert P. Emmerman and Cheryl A. Bancroft, who remain managing partners today. Through the course of the eighties and nineties, as we were marketing nearly 80 projects in 14 states, the Equity Marketing team accumulated the vast store of experience that sets us apart. We have ridden the real estate markets highs and lows; weathering three recessions, learning our lessons, paying our dues. We have seen what works and what doesnt; sometimes observing others mistakes, sometimes making our own. Now, in times of prosperity or adversity, we know the questions to ask and have the experience to interpret the answers and take immediate action. Equity Marketing, today, is a company with the pragmatism, creativity and savvy to identify opportunities, handle crisis, program strategic goals and manage day to day operations; in short maximize the potential of a residential development. Specialists in multi-family, we know the numbers--in new condominium or townhome construction, condominium conversion and the adaptive re-use of industrial or commercial structures. We are capable of providing leadership and meticulous administration of every phase in a developments lifecycle.
