Our property is located on 200 beautiful acres in Mendon, New York. Our programs provide life-changing physical and mental support for our participants, 60% of whom have an intellectual or developmental disability (IDD). Programs include adaptive horseback riding and horsemanship, therapeutic horticulture, and Horticulture and Equine Active Learning (HEAL), a program combining nature and equine activities to teach vital life skills. Since its founding in 2004, EquiCenters staff and volunteers have witnessed the direct benefit our healing horses and therapeutic horticulture activities have provided for our participants. Hundreds of children and adults have found the strength and courage to reach their fullest potential through their experiences at EquiCenter. At EquiCenter, we change lives.
