Answer: Energy Services of Colorado (ESCO), was founded in 2004 with a group of people whose industry experience in controls and mechanical systems exceeded 120 years. The primary market for our products and services was to address the Commercial Building retrofit market and high end (LEED) new construction. ESCO has two locations: One addressing the Front Range. The other location addresses the Western Slope. The past experience of our team was mostly based in the proprietary Control Systems such as CSI, Honeywell & Andover. Once a system was installed in a building the client was tied to the installing contractor until the system needed to be replaced. ESCO's approach is to offer "Open" products, systems and programming to it's clients. This way they could purchase equipment and find alternative companies to service the equipment if they choose.. A natural progression for ESCO was to add Mechanical Service and Retrofit to the product and service offerings. Many of our clients have difficulty in distinguishing the separation between mechanical and control service requirements. Having one company perform both functions makes problem solving much easier and more cost effective. The ESCO team is well versed in energy saving ideas, products and services. This allowed us to promote Energy Services as an integral part of what we offer. ESCO strives for customer satisfaction and helping the customer achieve there goals through our knowledge and abilities. We even care enough about our customers to have human beings answer the phones rather then machines.
