Answer: Earthrace Conversation was founded in 2010 by Environmental-Activist and Conservationist Captain Pete Bethune to protect wildlife and its habitat. Since then, we have successfully run various global conservation missions and patrols in partnership with local governments. With a passionate and highly-skilled team of over 20 people we target environmental crimes such as illegal fishing, pet trade, logging and wildlife poaching. On our missions, we get supported by our most-love crew member Appa, our tracking and anti-poaching dog trained by Animals saving Animals team. Base of operations is our ship M/Y Modoc, a former US Navy / US Coastguard vessel. Currently, we are partnering with Costa Rican & Panamanian governments and local wildlife rangers in offshore and jungle patrols to protect what are some of the worlds greatest National Parks. Support our mission and join our crew - connect with us!
