We carry out campaigns, research, and projects in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Turkmenistan. As a founding member of the Civic Solidarity Platforms Climate Justice Working Group, Crude Accountability recognizes the broader context that impacts our campaigning and research. Crude Accountabilitys current climate work ranges from researching countries commitments under the Paris Agreement to building the capacity of environmental defenders to work on climate change. Crude Accountability does not accept funding from the petroleum industry. All of our funding comes from individuals and private foundations.
