Answer: Collimated Holes, Inc. (CHI) is a provider of highly customized fiber optics and collimated hole structures for science, industry, and medicine. Our specialties include the drawing of customized optical fibers, capillaries, micro-lenses and other small glass structures, as well as the design and production of more elaborate fused fiber optic coherent imaging plates and assemblies, image/illumination geometry reformatting devices, and micro-capillary arrays. We own several patents on Terbium-doped scintillating optical glass formulations, which we use to produce scintillating fibers and fiber optic plates for high-energy imaging applications. These glasses are also occasionally sold in bulk form.
