When we defined our mission as, preparing scholars through a classical curriculum and highly structured setting to become liberated citizens of impeccable character, a future in which all scholars in the South Bronx can access the opportunities that support their ambitions was exactly what we had in mind. More than a decade later, Classical Charter Schools has four schools across the Bronx, serving over 1,200 scholars in grades K-8. Today, were the highest performing non-CMO charter network in all of New York City and a two-time National Blue Ribbon awarded network. Our success is founded on a classical curriculum and targeted support. Every child begins learning Latin in 3rd grade and participates in a Latin-focused international trip to Italy in 8th grade. Art, music, debate and character are core to our curriculum. Additionally, we use data to track learning growth, making sure every scholar is on track to succeed.
