Answer: C3's focused mission is the continuing research of advanced formulas (which we call GeoCeramics) and the development of innovative production methods so as to bring these proven, superior quality, 'green' cement admixtures into a cost-competitive position with portland cement. As anyone who knows the facts about these wonderful alternative cements, presently this is a tall order as the cost of commercially available phosphate has recently and dramatically increased in price (from an already relatively high cost), due mainly to a worldwide surge in agricultural use. Nonetheless we are decidedly optimistic this cost-competitive problem can and will be resolved in due course as we have made great progress in identifying and inventing 'unique' methods to obtain our key raw materials from numerous waste stream sources.
