Answer: Our history started when Eber Burkholder founded Burkholder's Flooring almost 85 years ago in 1939. He believed in providing the tri-state area with quality flooring and outstanding value with friendly knowledgeable service. Over the years, long time employees, Anita Hornbaker and Marlin Grove became shareholders and in 2011, Arvin Eby purchased the remaining shares from the Burkholder family. Dusty Stockslager was next to join the team when Marlin retired in 2020. After Arvin's retirement in 2023, Anita and Dusty remained as the leadership team and spearheaded a showroom renovation while preparing for Flooring America's new Retail 2.0 display and continuing the tradition of quality and excellence started by Mr. Burkholder.
