Boston MedFlight commits to excellence in critical care transport by providing the highest quality regional critical care transport system. For more than 35 years, Boston MedFlight has played an integral role as part of the Massachusetts EMS system and the community hospitals of New England. Boston MedFight transports emergent patients regardless of their ability to pay. We receive no state or federal funding and as a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization we must rely on third party reimbursement, support from our consortium hospitals, and our fundraising efforts to cover the substantial costs associated with delivering our services. Our consortium hospitals include: Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston Medical Center, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Children's Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital,Tufts Medical Center and Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.
