Each piece is carefully selected by Laura and is only available in a limited quantity and for a limited time as we strive to constantly add new items to our inventory. HOW WE STARTED In 2016, after 13 years as an elementary school teacher in Grand Blanc, MI, Laura wanted to try something new during her summer break to earn extra money for her family. With a natural eye for fashion and style, she decided to sign an exclusive agreement with a clothing wholesaler to purchase their brand of womens clothing with the intent to sell the clothing to her local network of friends, family, and colleagues. Word of Lauras fashionable clothing at great prices quickly spread. Within the first few weeks of inception, she and her husband found themselves selling their dining room table on craigslist to make room for more clothing. After three years of selling only the single product line, Laura decided it was time to expand. She parted ways with her original wholesaler and began to purchase direct from independent clothing, jewelry, and shoe manufacturers across the USA. On April 9th, 2019, named after the street Laura and her family live on, Ava Lane Boutique was formed. Laura chose this name because she wants all her customers to feel like they are shopping with family. ALB is currently in their 2nd warehouse and employs over 15 women. As a woman owned business, Laura would like to give back and empower other women wherever possible. OUR MISSION Our mission is to source as much of our collection as possible from local artisans and support small businesses throughout the USA. We aim to provide our customers with the highest quality items and impeccable customer service.
