Answer: The mission of ACMP - Associated Chamber Music Players - is to stimulate and expand the playing of chamber music for pleasure among musicians worldwide, of all backgrounds, ages and skill levels, by connecting people and supporting chamber music activities for individuals, groups and institutions. Since publishing its first Directory in 1947, ACMP has been enabling chamber music players to find one another. More than 6,000 members come from every part of the world and share one interest: the love of making music with others. Since 1994, the ACMP Foundation has awarded more than 3,000 grants totaling over four million dollars in support of chamber music activities around the world, including home coaching for ACMP members, community music programs, chamber music workshops, and other special initiatives. These programs promote, enrich, and encourage the playing of chamber music now and for the future.
