Answer: SAFE Project provides advocacy services to survivors of stalking, intimate partner, family and sexual violence. Our education and awareness efforts are focused on prevention and improved community response. Our services include: emergency shelter, a 24-hour local hotline, cell phones with minutes, emergency transportation, crisis intervention, safety planning, hospital/sexual assault exam information, support, resources, and clothing, community resource referrals, financial assistance, prevention & outreach, help arranging a civil standby, accompaniment to the police department, courthouse, or other locations to file reports, budgeting/financial education, and assistance with completing and filing the following: domestic violence, stalking, or sexual assault protection orders and help with victim compensation. SAFE Project has a campus advocate who can provide specific services to student, faculty, and staff survivors on the University of Wyoming, WyoTech, and LCCC campuses. All of our services are free and confidential. We do not discriminate for access to services on the basis of real or perceived race/ethnicity, language, sex, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, (dis)ability, social class, economic status, education, marital status, religious affiliation, residency, HIV status, sexual preference, or national origin.
