Answer: The Architectural Foundation of San Francisco is a non-profit educational organization. For decades, AFSF has been at the forefront of STE(A)M education. Our real-life project-based programs engender Bay Area place attachment in our students and build social resiliency and equity across our communities and beyond. We engage students in professionally mentored appre-ciation of architecture, engineering, construction and the design process. We challenge students to observe, under-stand and participate in shaping their built environment. Our impact is broad and deep. We reach hundreds of students every year. Each student benefits from an average between 60 - 320 hours of direct contact, with 40% of that time spent with our professional mentors. We look forward to sharing more of what we do and explore more ways to broaden our impact with you! Want to become a mentor? Reach out to us @ info@afsf.org
