Answer: We are a 501c3 not for profit that rescues horses from terrible situations of abuse and neglect. After a 30 day quarantine, the horses arrive at our farm frightened, underweight and anxious. They require a lot of TLC and attention to bring them back to health. They are assessed, cared for and nurtured. Our goal is to re-home them with the perfect owner. We have a strenuous adoption review process to ensure that the right match is made and the horse will live out the rest of their life free from fear and abuse. Some horses are selected for our Equine Assisted Therapy program which follows the EAGALA model (no riding). EAP is an established and proven method of therapy. We focus on Veterans and children and there are many conditions which can be helped through this method.
